I have served on the Friendship Feast Board since 2016 and as President since 2019. The ministry of the Friendship Feast is important to me as we provide hot nutritious meals for those in need.

I serve as the Paster for the First Presbyterian Church of Dodge City. As a minister, I am passionate about meeting people's needs both physical and spiritual. Being involved with Friendship Feast as a board member gives me an opportunity to do both.

I joined the Board of Friendship Feast Association in 2015 and I consider it a priveldge to serve this wonderful Organization.

Diane Urias

I’m Diane Urias moved to Dodge City in 2013 from Nebraska. I started volunteering at the Friendship Freast in Spring of 2014. A friend of mine was a volunteer and asked me if I would be interested in volunteering at the Friendship Feast, so I have been there ever since. It’s a great way to donate time in the community. It’s very rewarding, everyone is friendly and appreciative

Penny Alger

Penny Alger is a lifelong Dodge City Resident. She is a dedicated and loyal member of this community. She has an outstanding reputation for her endless attributes and knowledge of resources for all of our citizens. Penny has been with Friendship Feast since its inception!

Jan Ackerman

Jan Ackerman joined the Friendship Feast Board in 2021. She is a Realtor for REMAX Villa and a member of the VFW Auxilliary #1714, and the GI Forum. She grew up in Kansas City Missouri and is a graduate of the University of Missouri, Columbia. She enjoys gardening, shopping, and spending time with her grandchildren.

I joined the board at the end of 2022. It is an honor to be involved in this organization and to be a part of such a valuable service to a community I was born in.

Sarah Speakman

Kitchen Manager

I have been with the Friendship Feast since 2012. I am grateful for the opportunity to combine my culinary arts interests while helping members in our community with a delicious meal and a friendly smile.

Jeani Perkins

Jeani Perkins started volunteering with Friendship Feast in 2000 when the first meals were being served. She is very passionate and grateful for being able to help serve the community.
